(Blithely Insignificant and Unworthy Update)

Please note that I have not forgotten that this blog exists. Even though any potential readers no doubt have. I am currently working on names for a Cast of Characters. This is being pursued with the same degree of intensity that I generally apply to all other endeavors.

Statement of Porpoise

A very intelligent, logical, linear-minded friend recently asked me what my goals were regarding blogging. Therefore, I will see what happens when I try to start this blog by being orderly, analytical and (God forbid) linear. I reserve the right to change these goals as often as 12 times per minute, from now until Bastille Day replaces Christmas and somebody calling themselves Louis XVI takes over as the head of our society (and brings back the guillotine, with any luck).

1. My main goal is to avoid aspiring towards any goals whatsoever.

2. I am by my own definition a Satirical Absurdist. In keeping with that self-applied moniker, I hope to demonstrate just how ironic, bizarre and patently ridiculous everything in this life is - and why we all need to just laugh our asses off, and not take life so seriously, and just not worry about everything so much.

3. My underlying goal here is to keep myself from going totally insane. Maybe blow off some steam (since I am a punk, does this make me a follower of steam punk?). So far the things I have tried have not been working too well.
